Let me take a minute to introduce myself. My name is Brandie Sigler. I sincerely hope we have the opportunity to meet each other soon. Until then, here is a little bit about me and how I got to where I am.
I have been working on websites since I graduated from Ferris State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Technical and Professional Communication with a concentration in multi-media design.
In 2009, after being downsized from a company in Green Bay, I decided it was time to go out on my own. I started by building my husband’s website, Outwrite Outdoors. His site is often a live testing zone for me. But we have found a lot of success. The site has been built and marketed with minimal out-of-pocket expenses.
I now work full-time from home creating and managing websites for Outwrite Media clients. The majority of my time is spent marketing and maintaining existing sites.
I however do not always keep traditional business hours. I’m generally available during the day from about a.m. to 5 p.m. I volunteer at least one hour per week at our son’s elementary school and occasionally catch a nap with our young daughter. What work doesn’t get done during the day, gets done when my husband gets home from work and can help with the kids.
